Serving
The Christ Lutheran Foundation, Inc. came into existence in the fall of 2004 as a result of a gift from the Pohlmeyer Estate. Melvin, Dorothy, and daughter, Sarah Beth Pohlmeyer, were all charter members of Christ Lutheran Church, which began in 1965. The Pohlmeyers’ life-long faithful stewardship in life and commitment to the Lord’s work through Christ Lutheran Church demonstrated their trust and faith in the congregation of Christ Lutheran. Serving in all aspects of Christ Lutheran the Pohlmeyers’ love and devotion to this church continues. As faithful stewards in life, the Pohlmeyers’ mission outreach served lives not only in their church but also in this community, county and worldwide. The Congregation voted to establish the Christ Lutheran Foundation, Inc., which would provide funding on an ongoing basis for mission outreach to the city, county, state and worldwide just as the Pohlmeyers in life reached out… Serving Lives Though Christ.
